'“Having a chic floral forest wedding outdoors (wow, that was a mouthful) was our main inspiration because we've always been enchanted by the redwoods and wanted a color palette that included a mixture of soft pinks that complemented the dark greens and browns of the outdoors. We also wanted an event that our families would enjoy and be absolutely floored by.”

 “We're both very detail oriented and focused on making everything stand out in a unique way, especially our lounge area with the different colors and textures. Adding in the churro cart, s’mores, and sparklers made our wedding even more memorable not only for us, but for our guests as well.”

First Look and Vows

“We weren't sure we wanted to do this, but I'm so glad we did. It's such an intimate moment that truly allowed us to let one another know how happy we were to say "I do."

“We basically read vows to each other and this helped not only calm our nerves, but it allowed us a nice private moment to ourselves before the big day. “Chris balled and couldn't hold back his emotions, but it was amazingly sweet and genuine.”

Sweetheart Table Inspiration

“We wanted something that would stand out and really bring everything together in the most romantic way possible. Luckily, we had a great wedding coordinator who already had this big beautiful heart in mind. Our florist really elevated the design with the gorgeous color palette of the flowers. We also wanted candles and decor that complemented the Redwoods and added to the glowy romantic feel we envisioned. The wooden heart was popular amongst our guests as well.”

Favorite Wedding Day Memories

His - “If Chris had to pick, he had two favorites. He absolutely loved sitting at the sweetheart table just being with me (Marisol), also eating and enjoying dinner with his family and friends. The 2nd, he loved taking pictures with everyone inside the photo booth, Penny. It was a nice break from everything and allowed us to share special moments with individual guests - truly recommend!”

Her’s - “I've got to agree with Chris. One of my favorite moments was enjoying dinner with Chris amongst our loved ones  and just basking in the moment. Everything worked out so flawlessly that day and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.” 

Advice for Future Brides and Grooms

“Honestly, just enjoy the day as much as possible, it goes by so fast!! We were anxiously waiting for our special day for over a year and we're still amazed by how fast the day actually goes. Investing in vendors that truly understand your vision makes the process more enjoyable and we would say our number one advice is to hire a wedding planner that helps coordinate the entire wedding and allows for you and your loved one to truly enjoy the day. “
